Wright's Hit Streak Soars to 30 Games Tuesday, April 4th, 2023 Phil Wright's consecutive-game hitting streak has now climbed to 30 games. The Temiskaming District Secondary School shortstop smacked 1 hit against Dublin Jerome HS in today's game at Leafs Ballpark to extend it, but he has mixed emotions about it. After losing to the Dublin Jerome HS Celtics, Wright told reporters, "I feel good about the streak, but don't feel good when we lose." Phil Wright doubled in the 2nd, flied out in the 4th, struck out in the 7th and flied out in the 9th. |
