LaFontaine Gets 5 Hits Monday, April 3rd, 2023 Joe LaFontaine of the Tigers was unstoppable in today's 26-10 victory over the Buchanan HS at Lincolnville HS Fields. He battered them for 5 hits in 6 at-bats. "Boy, I was on the mark today," said the Coweta HS second baseman after the game. "I could see the ball real well. It's a great feeling to do this. And besides, 5-for-6 won't hurt your batting average like 0-for-5 will." Joe LaFontaine struck out in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, hit an RBI single in the 4th, walked in the 6th, singled in the 7th, hit an RBI single in the 8th and hit a three-run double in the 9th. |
