Kansas State Sits Atop NCAA Big 12 Sunday, May 28th, 2023 While it remains to be seen what the playoffs will bring for the Kansas State Wildcats, the club has taken the first step of clinching the NCAA Big 12 title. "It's exactly where we wanted to be and where we talked about being during spring training," said third baseman Kyle Harrison. "There's not a guy in the room that doesn't believe in this team. We're all pulling in the same direction right now." It was the team's 3rd division title and they will attempt to capture the franchise's 1st College Baseball championship. "The end goal hasn't changed - win the CWS Championship," said manager José Gutiérrez. "We think we've got the team to do it." |
