RP Rob Stephens Out Sunday, April 23rd, 2023 The Penn State Nittany Lions will lose the services of reliever Rob Stephens after he sustained ulnar nerve irritation while throwing a pitch in today's game against the UCLA Bruins. "I'll get through it," Stephens said. "The key now is to stay positive." His trainer said he is expected to be sidelined for 5 months. Stephens has compiled an ERA of 2.79 so far this season, winning 1 games with 1 loss and 4 saves. In 10 relief appearances he has hurled 9.2 innings, yielded 11 hits and struck out 9. Opposing hitters have batted .306 against Stephens. |
