Hits Galore: Snyder Drills 5 Hits Friday, April 21st, 2023 At Plainsman Park Edison Snyder of the Auburn Tigers put on a hitting clinic today against Iowa State. He banged out 5 hits in 6 at-bats and mauled Cyclones pitching, but came up short in the win department. In spite of his standout 5-hit performance, the Cyclones captured the game by the score of 15-13. "Hey, it's great to get that many hits in a game, but it would have been nice to win the game, too," were his words in the postgame interview. Edison Snyder hit an RBI single in the 1st, singled in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, singled in the 5th, flied out in the 8th and singled in the 9th. Presently Snyder is batting .214 with 18 hits and 3 home runs. He has knocked in 15 runs and scored 13 times. |
