Ward Hits for the Cycle Wednesday, April 12th, 2023 Rebels left fielder Walt Ward made big news today in the Mississippi 14-3 victory over South Carolina. He was 4-for-5 at the plate and hit for the cycle. Walt Ward tripled in the 1st, doubled in the 2nd, struck out in the 4th, hit an RBI single in the 5th, hit a two-run home run off Cameron Stevens in the 7th and walked in the 8th. Thus far this year Ward is hitting .438 with 7 home runs, 19 RBIs and 18 runs scored. |
