Evans Gets 5 Hits Sunday, April 9th, 2023 Will Evans really sizzled at the plate today. In a game played at Alex Box Stadium, the Oregon third baseman blistered the Louisiana State Tigers for 5 hits in 6 at-bats to pace his club to a 12-7 victory. "Evans was too tough to get out today," the Tigers skipper said in his postgame interview. "No matter what we threw him, he hit it. And he hit some good pitches, too."
