Nashua's McMillan to Miss 4-5 Months Monday, September 4th, 2023 It took the Nashua team doctor a while to realize it, but reliever Sam McMillan won't simply play through ulnar nerve irritation after he got hurt throwing a pitch in today's Orcas-Redlegs game. At first, it looked like McMillan might be back as early as tomorrow, but now the prognosis isn't quite so good; he's expected to miss at least 4-5 months. So far this season McMillan is 1-and-1 with no saves and a 3.16 ERA. He has given up 23 hits in 25.2 innings with 26 strikeouts. |
