Louisville's Colón Goes Ballistic with 6 Hits Monday, September 4th, 2023 Armando Colón was on fire today and sparked his club to a 33-4 victory over the Singrays. The Louisville second baseman was a tough out and went 6 for 7 against Tolland in a fine hitting display. "I got my pitches and I connected. They all found the right holes on the diamond. Some days you hit shots and they're right at somebody... and some days they fall in." Armando Colón grounded out in the 1st, doubled in the 3rd, hit a two-run home run off Jorge Gómez in the 5th, singled in the 5th, hit an RBI single in the 5th, grounded out in the 7th, hit a two-run single in the 8th and doubled in the 9th. Currently Colón is batting .210 with 93 hits and 8 home runs. He has knocked in 46 runs and scored 51 times. |
