Red-Hot Rampage Reaps APL Reward Monday, August 28th, 2023 The marquee name in the Appalachian League this week is Danny Walker of the Savannah Hogs. The hot-hitting 21-year-old second baseman put up a .522 average and .560 on-base percentage, piling up 12 hits in 23 at-bats, 2 home runs, 7 RBIs and 5 runs scored. That kind of hitting got him the APL Player of the Week honors. For the year Walker is batting .263 with 10 home runs. |
