Walker Raps Tolland for 5 Hits Wednesday, August 23rd, 2023 It was a parade of hits for Danny Walker of the Savannah Hogs... one right after another... a total of 5 for the day. He ravaged the Tolland Singrays for 5 hits in his 6 at-bats and propelled the Hogs to a 15-0 victory. "Walker was really good and we were really bad," groaned the Singrays manager. "Next time he's that hot, we'll just walk him." Danny Walker singled in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 2nd, flied out in the 3rd, hit an RBI single in the 5th, doubled in the 7th, singled in the 7th and walked in the 9th. This year Walker has hit at a .262 clip with 136 hits, 10 home runs, 54 RBIs and 73 runs scored. |
