Meatheads Lozano Out of Action Thursday, May 25th, 2023 Enrico Lozano at first refused to leave today's Minnesota-Manhatten game after he suffered a torn ulnar collateral ligament while throwing a pitch. But his manager convinced him not to be foolish. "I want to be on the field," the feisty Manhatten reliever said. "I'll play through just about anything." Given time to reflect on the situation, he knew it was in his best interest to get immediate treatment. The injury is expected to keep Lozano out of action for 9 months. On the season Lozano has delivered 4 saves in 20 relief appearances. He has 16 strikeouts in 16 innings with a 5.06 ERA and a 2-2 mark. |
