August's MSL Top Pitcher is 08s Harding Friday, September 1st, 2023 Darrell Harding took a much-deserved turn in the spotlight earlier today as he accepted the Midwest League Pitcher of the Month award for August. The 20-year-old 08s starter is a relative newcomer to the league, but nonetheless racked up an impressive 5-0 won-lost record in 6 starts. This month he fanned 76 batters in 38 innings and compiled a 1.42 ERA. So far this season, Harding has logged a 12-5 record with a 3.01 ERA. He has started 29 games, hurled 155.1 innings and registered 315 strikeouts and 85 walks. |
