Rego Wins MSL Player of the Week Honors Monday, August 14th, 2023 So far in his young career, Felipe Rego has kept a low profile, but after his performance at the plate last week, he attracted the notice of the rest of the Midwest League in a big way as he was named the Player of the Week today for his efforts. The 23-year-old Columbia 08s left fielder hit at a torrid .522 clip as he collected 12 hits in 23 at-bats, 2 home runs, 7 RBIs and 9 runs scored. Currently Rego has 12 home runs and a .277 batting average. |
