15 Ks for Baker, Beats Lima 7-0 Wednesday, September 6th, 2023 Edward Baker of the Reading Rainbows was something to behold at Paul Owens Stadium. He fanned 15 Oilers en route to a 7-0 victory. Baker shackled Lima on 1 hit and gave up 1 walk in an outstanding performance. "That's as good as I've ever seen him throw," his manager said. "I've never seen so many bad swings in my life. These guys didn't have a chance." As for Baker, he had very little to say to after the game. "We won and that's the bottom line. I had a good game. And we beat Lima. This season Baker has compiled a 5-1 record with a 2.50 ERA in 9 starts. |
