ESL Selects González August's #1 Pitcher Friday, September 1st, 2023 In August, Juan González tore through the Eastern League like a seasoned veteran -- quite impressive for a player only 23 years old. The young Butler starter posted a 3-0 mark and an ERA of 1.25 to earn the Pitcher of the Month award. In 36 innings he collected 23 strikeouts while limiting the opposition to a .171 average. This year González has compiled a 8-7 record with a 3.81 ERA in 26 starts. |
