Southern League Top Player Is Smith Saturday, October 14th, 2023 Todd Smith of the West Palm Reds had a fine season this year and today he accepted the Outstanding Hitter Award for 2023. The 27-year-old center fielder put up a .309 average and a .392 on-base percentage, piling up 182 hits, 38 doubles, 5 triples, 29 home runs, 122 RBIs and 124 runs scored. José Fernández of the Gainesville Guidos finished second in voting, while Jack Ray of the West Palm Reds finished third. |
