2023 SNL Outstanding Pitcher Award Chosen Friday, October 13th, 2023 24-year-old Octávio Ramírez of the West Palm Reds put together a good year in 2023 for such a young player. Ramírez was named today as the winner of the Southern League Outstanding Pitcher Award. Ramírez crafted an impressive 20-7 record and a 3.64 ERA. In 237.1 innings he allowed 193 hits, struck out 304, and walked 70. Stanley Briggs of the Montgomery Biscuits finished second in voting, while Mark MacGruder of the Memphis Blues finished third. |
