SNL Star of the Week Named Monday, July 10th, 2023 So far in his young career, Peyton Pennington has kept a low profile, but after his performance at the plate last week, he attracted the notice of the rest of the Southern League in a big way as he was named the Player of the Week today for his efforts. The 25-year-old Memphis Blues right fielder hit at a torrid .476 clip as he collected 10 hits in 21 at-bats, 2 home runs, 11 RBIs and 5 runs scored. On the year Pennington has hit .284 with 3 home runs, 33 RBIs and scored 28 runs. |
