Berroa Slaps 5 Hits Tuesday, September 12th, 2023 José Berroa of the Rams was unstoppable in today's 12-8 victory over the Culver City Extras at The Rehab Center. He battered them for 5 hits in 5 at-bats. "Boy, I was on the mark today," said the Balzac left fielder after the game. "I could see the ball real well. It's a great feeling to do this. And besides, 5-for-5 won't hurt your batting average like 0-for-5 will." José Berroa hit an RBI single in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, singled in the 7th, walked in the 8th and hit an RBI single in the 9th. Presently Berroa is hitting .298 with 13 home runs and 57 RBIs. He has played in 145 games and scored 80 times. |
