2023 Best Player Selected In PCL Tuesday, October 17th, 2023 2023 was an outstanding year for District 9 center fielder Leland Hardy and it was capped off today by the announcement that he is the winner of the Pacific Coast League Outstanding Hitter Award. This season Hardy compiled a .343 batting average and a .416 on-base percentage. In 156 games he delivered 220 hits, including 48 doubles, 6 triples and 54 home runs. He finished the year with 169 RBIs and 145 runs scored. Ernesto Acosta of the Spokane Trappers finished second in voting, while Patrick Osborne of the Santa Monica Bruins finished third. |
