Pacific Coast League Central Won: Lugnuts On Top Wednesday, September 20th, 2023 Let loose, Lansing fans, your team has won the Pacific Coast League Central. The Lansing Lugnuts have officially captured the crown, the 12th in franchise history. "We've got a team that can do it all and we think do it just as well as anyone in the league," said reliever José Romano. "I hope no one is taking us lightly once the playoffs start." Certainly the team's division crown will garner them a fair bit of respect, as the 95-62 record puts the club in position for the franchise's 5th Pacific Coast League championship. "You never get tired of being in the playoffs," said manager Randy Brown. "This is what you play for." |
