Espinoza Bangs Out 5 Base Hits Monday, July 24th, 2023 "Believe it or not," said Mile High third baseman Jesús Espinoza, "they threw me some good pitches today." That would be hard to believe for anyone who saw him dispose of the Isotopes with a great 5-hit performance. "He made it look easy," said the Albuquerque manager, who saw his team fall to the Mile High Broncos, 14-1. "Hats off to him!" Jesús Espinoza singled in the 2nd, hit a three-run home run off Jason Dodd in the 3rd, singled in the 4th, hit an RBI single in the 5th, singled in the 7th and flied out in the 9th. This season Espinoza is batting .343 with 47 hits, 6 home runs, 27 RBIs, .417 OBP and has scored 23 runs. |
