Pedro Hernández put together a very solid month to take home the International League's top pitching honor in May. The 25-year-old reliever threw like a veteran. In no relief appearances he raked in no saves and 44 strikeouts in 37 innings as he put together his 5-1 record and 2.43 ERA. So far this season Hernández has picked up no saves in 1 relief appearance. He has also compiled a 5-2 won-lost mark with a 2.49 ERA and fanned 52 batters in 43.1 innings. |
