Otsego's Fa Snags Outstanding Pitcher Award Saturday, October 21st, 2023 The Otsego clubhouse staff referred to him as "the kid" this season. Next year Jing-xiang Fa will have to have a new nickname. He earned it after winning the 2023 International League Outstanding Pitcher Award. Fa made 35 starts this year, winning 17 and losing 7. He threw 185 innings, fanned 141, allowed 228 hits and 44 walks, while holding opposing teams to a .296 average as he logged an impressive 4.38 ERA. Robbie Daniel of the Allentown Hillbillies finished second in voting, while Robbie O'Neil of the Topeka Tornados finished third. |
