Sánchez Strokes 5 Hits Wednesday, September 20th, 2023 At Snake Park Ramón Sánchez was the King of Swing today in the 19-10 win over the Timber Rattlers. The Detroit center fielder stepped into the batter's box 7 times against the Wisconsin and delivered 5 hits. It was a sensational game for him. He told the press, "Unbelievable feeling. It felt good. 5 for 7! It does wonders for your batting average, too." Ramón Sánchez singled in the 1st, grounded out in the 2nd, hit a two-run single in the 3rd, singled in the 6th, struck out in the 7th, hit an RBI single in the 8th and hit a two-run single in the 9th. Thus far this year Sánchez is batting .311 with 4 home runs, 37 RBIs and 30 runs scored. |
