Jimmy Vickers, the Otsego Bulldogs 23-year-old first baseman, put himself in the spotlight last week making him the clear-cut choice for International League Player of the Week honors. He ripped 11 hits in 18 at-bats, compiling a .611 average with 3 home runs and 12 RBIs. In the current season, Vickers has put up a .369 batting average with 169 hits, 37 home runs, 162 RBI and scored 124 runs. |
