August's ITL Top Pitcher is Barons Salazar Friday, September 1st, 2023 Jorge Salazar is at the zenith of his career and today he was selected as the International League Pitcher of the Month for August. He made no relief appearances for Birmingham last month, throwing 41 innings and collecting no saves, a 4-0 record, 40 strikeouts and a 1.98 ERA. So far this season, in no relief appearances Salazar has compiled an ERA of 4.90. He has pitched 174.2 innings, struck out 147, walked 60 and registered no saves. |
