Grover Lowdermilk Out for Season Saturday, August 16th, 2031 A blow for Grover Lowdermilk today -- team doctors confirmed he will miss 13 months with a torn rotator cuff. Lowdermilk suffered the injury throwing a pitch. Although officials from the San Bernardino Grasshoppers are confident he'll make a full recovery, doubts will persist about Lowdermilk's ability to return fully fit with an injury of this nature. So far this year Lowdermilk has made 16 starts, tossed 109.1 innings, struck out 66 batters and walked 41. His record is 6-7 with a 3.46 ERA and he has limited opposing teams to a .246 batting average. |
