Guzmán Rips Tremont for 5 Hits Monday, September 15th, 2031 Supernovas center fielder Jesús Guzmán had his way with Tremont pitching today at Doubledays Stadium and mauled them for 5 hits in 5 at-bats. His efforts were all in vain, though, as the Doubledays ruined his great day by toppling the Supernovas, 5-4. "I had a great day, but you've got to give Tremont credit, they did what they had to do to win," he told reporters after the game. "They weren't very impressed with my 5 hits." "Oh, we noticed what Guzmán did today," Doubledays skipper Lendon Tipton said. "He had quite a game. I can tell you this, we will pitch him a little differently the next time we face him." Jesús Guzmán singled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, singled in the 7th and singled in the 9th. Guzmán is hitting .285 this year with 3 home runs and 28 RBIs.
