Red-Hot Ryan Scorches Lynx Sunday, August 31st, 2031 Brent Ryan really sizzled at the plate in today's 12-4 win over Lynx. The Salt Lake City first baseman blistered Calgary for 5 hits in 5 at-bats. "Ryan was too tough to get out today," the Lynx skipper said in the postgame interview. "No matter what we threw him, he hit it. And he hit some good pitches, too." Brent Ryan hit a two-run home run off Harold Elkins in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, hit an RBI single in the 4th, hit an RBI double in the 6th and hit a solo-shot off Jesús Hernández in the 8th.
