United States Silver League Names Rookie of Month Monday, September 1st, 2031 Youngster Juan Macíel emerged as the latest United States Silver League Rookie of the Month today. The young man from Richardson City deserved the honor, batting .383 with 1 home run and 10 RBI. Is the month of August a harbinger of things to come or just a fluke? We'll find out someday, but for now, we'll just let Macíel enjoy the limelight. Macíel has a .355 average and a .381 on-base percentage for the year. He has picked up 135 hits, 6 home runs and driven in 56 runs. |
