Provo No Match for Molloy Friday, September 5th, 2031 Connetquot Chiefs fans were pleased to see so many goose eggs up on the scoreboard as Ed Molloy blanked the Provo Mango, 5-0 at The Big Teepee today. Molloy stopped them on 3 hits while walking 1 and striking out 5. "Once he gets in a groove, he can be dynamite," Chiefs skipper Don Nelson said. "He was on top of his game in this one." So far this year Molloy has made 19 starts, tossed 130.2 innings, struck out 138 batters and walked 43. His record is 9-3 with a 3.03 ERA and he has limited opposing teams to a .235 batting average.
