Season Ends for Ricardo Covarrubias of Grand Forks Thursday, July 10th, 2031 The season is ending on a bad note for Ricardo Covarrubias, reliever for the Grand Forks Caterpillars. It was announced today that he will miss the rest of the season because of injury. Covarrubias was hurt against the Nebraska Plainsmen while throwing a pitch. He suffered a torn ulnar collateral ligament and will be out for at least 13 months. So far this year Covarrubias has nailed down 2 saves. His won-lost record is 5-0 with a 1.25 ERA. |
