Caterpillars Malzahn Suspended Monday, June 9th, 2031 Jeremy Malzahn was incensed today after he was suspended by the commissioner's office for 3 games following a wild argument at the Grand Forks-Nebraska game. The league cited the Caterpillars center fielder for "inappropriate and aggressive conduct," in the notification letter. Malzahn strongly objected to a questionable call by the home plate umpire and was ejected. "Ejection? Maybe. But not suspension. It's ludicrous is what it is. It's totally uncalled for. I have no idea why. You have to ask the people in the league office that wear the coats and ties and don't get on the field. I didn't cause the altercation, the umpire did. It was a lousy call." Malzahn is hitting .148 so far this season with 2 RBIs and 3 runs scored. He has 4 hits including no home runs, no walks and .148 OBP. |
