Season Ends for Tom Burnett of Mt. Vernon Saturday, June 7th, 2031 The season is ending on a bad note for Tom Burnett, reliever for the Mt. Vernon Bulls. It was announced today that he will miss the rest of the season because of injury. Burnett was hurt against the Mancelona Torch while throwing a pitch. He suffered a damaged elbow ligament and will be out for at least 10-11 months. So far this year Burnett has nailed down no saves. His won-lost record is 1-0 with a 1.64 ERA. |
