Seung-soo Yi Out for Season Saturday, August 30th, 2031 A blow for Seung-soo Yi today -- team doctors confirmed he will miss 9-10 months with a torn flexor tendon in his elbow. Yi suffered the injury throwing a pitch. Although officials from the Nebraska Plainsmen are confident he'll make a full recovery, doubts will persist about Yi's ability to return fully fit with an injury of this nature. To date this year Yi has won 1 and lost 3 with a 3.44 ERA, no saves and 19 strikeouts in 15 relief appearances. |
