Haynes Selected 3A Player of the Week Monday, August 25th, 2031 21-year-old Manuel Haynes made a few Niagara Falls headlines during this past week as the rookie left fielder proved he could compete at the plate with his high-school idols. He captured the attention of fans, journalists and M3L Single A officials last week and today took home Player of the Week honors for his effort. He cracked 11 hits in 22 at-bats to put up a .500 average. Haynes collected 1 home run, 3 RBIs and scored 5 runs. For the season, Haynes is hitting at a .206 clip with 5 home runs, 27 RBIs and has scored 24 runs. He has 54 hits, 24 walks and a .274 on-base percentage. |
