Extra-Inning Win by Dutchmen over Middies
|
New Amsterdam starter Rusty Swanson had a strong outing against the Grafton Middies at Field of the Middies. The left-hander was a big part of his team's 2-1 win. The Dutchmen saw their record improve to 44-46.
Swanson went the distance -- and then some -- for the Dutchmen, throwing 12 innings of 7-hit ball against the Middies, striking out 4.
"It's a mindset," said Swanson. "Just trying to do your job, trying to be consistent."
