Fans who came to Nuggets Park watched the Rocky Mountain Nuggets and the Las Vegas Flamingos fight to the finish.

Paco Muñóz left his imprint on the 8-7 Rocky Mountain win against the Las Vegas Flamingos. Muñóz, who is rated as the 10th best prospect by BNN, was 3-4 with 2 home runs and a walk. He scored 3 runs and drove in 3. Rocky Mountain now owns a record of 29-53.

Muñóz contributed a big hit, a 2-run home run, for Rocky Mountain in the bottom of the ninth. With his team trailing 7-6, Muñóz took a fastball from Marvin Martin and stroked the home run to left. His 12th home run of the season allowed the Nuggets to leap in front, 8-7.

In postgame comments to the Rocky Mountain Times, Muñóz said, "If the effort is there, the wins will come."
