Guzzlers Take Down Chukars, 8-2
|
Jeremy Migliorati had a hand in Galesburg defeating Idaho Falls by the score of 8-2. Migliorati went 2 for 3 at the plate, scoring 3 times and driving in 1 runs. Franklin Camarena, the winner, improved to 2-3. He held Idaho Falls to 1 earned run on 4 hits over 5.2 innings, while racking up 7 strikeouts. The save went to Ricardo Pérez, his 1st this season.
Manny Diéguez did the little things right to help the team against the Chukars. In the top of the first inning, he reached on an error by the P, driving in 2 runs, putting Galesburg in front, 2-0.
"What we get, we earn," Diéguez told the Galesburg Today.
Galesburg is now 11-12, while Idaho Falls is 10-13.
