Thrilling Walk-Off Win for Storm
|
The Syracuse Storm had to overcome a big game from Delaware catcher Gerold Olthof to leave Storm Park with a 6-5 victory. Olthof was 3 for 5 with a home run and 2 singles, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. The Storm own a robust 48-27 mark.
William Duffy was the walk-off hero for Syracuse. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Storm pinch hitter hit a dramatic solo home run to send the teams home.
