Victory Pushes Chiefs Record to 27-15
|
The Connetquot Chiefs got a strong performance from pitcher Edgar Carter, who stymied the Yellowknife offense en route to a 6-2 win at The Big Teepee. The Dragonblood, now 17-25, have lost 6 in a row.
Carlos Campos, who is tied for 10th in the SA in RBI with 21, contributed to the Connetquot win with a 2-run home run in the bottom of the third. For the game, the shortstop had 2 hits in 4 at-bats with 1 home run, 1 single, 1 run scored, and 2 runs batted in.
