Plainsmen Lose Again, 3-1, to Airmen
|
Alameda Airmen starter C'Bo Flemister pitched a strong game against the Nebraska Plainsmen at Plain Old Stadium, leading the Airmen to a 3-1 win. Flemister picked up the win for Alameda, going 6.1 innings. He gave up 1 run on 6 hits. He now sports a record of 5-3. Akinori Yamauchi earned the save, his 8th, for the Airmen.
One of the key players for the Airmen was second baseman Gérard Chesnutt, who drilled a run-scoring single in the top of the fifth inning. For the game, Chesnutt was 1-5.
