Sachs Rips Naperville for 5 Hits
Eddie Sachs put on a hitting clinic today as the Scranton Supernovas dumped the Naperville Battlekings 6-5 at Nuclear Stadium.

The Scranton first baseman made Naperville defenders earn their pay, lashing Naperville pitching for 5 hits in 7 at-bats in the game. He told BNN reporters after the game that his strategy was "just hit it where they pitched it."

"Too often I try too hard to pull the ball," Sachs said in his postgame press conference. "Today, I just went with the pitch."

Eddie Sachs struck out in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, hit an RBI double in the 5th, doubled in the 7th, struck out in the 10th, singled in the 12th and hit a solo-shot off Kelemeneke Balun in the 15th.
