Tremont Doubledays starter Bobby Swain was in a groove as he led his team to a win over the Royse City Targaryens, 4-1. Alonso Martínez, summoned from the bullpen, notched his 21st save. The Doubledays improve their record to 46-38 with the win over Royse City.

In the top of the second, Roberto Valle hit a run-scoring triple for Tremont. The 1st triple of the season for the Tremont designated hitter put the Doubledays on top, 1-0.

"We cashed in when we had the chance," said Tremont manager Lendon Tipton.
