Pugiev drives in 5 runs, Fighting Dachsunds Move to 42-22
|
A 5-RBI performance from Vladya Pugiev, who is tied for 8th in the SAAA in extra base hits with 23, helped the Ellenburg Fighting Dachsunds beat the Naperville Battlekings, 9-5. Ellenburg improves to 42-22 with the win. They lead their division by 9 games.
Pugiev had an important at-bat with runners on 2nd and 3rd in the top of the first, when he hit a 2-run triple. The Fighting Dachsunds went on to win.
"We take it day by day here," said Pugiev, "and today was a good one for us."
