Tremont withstood an impressive performance by Scranton second baseman Senior Pond to defeat the Supernovas, 8-7, at Nuclear Stadium. Pond went 4 for 5 with 2 doubles and 2 singles, while scoring 3 runs. Tremont reliever Taro Ohayashi picked up the win, upping his record to 3-0. Alfredo Muńóz shouldered the loss. Alonso Martínez earned the save for Tremont, his 16th of the year.

Sheldon Deshotels had a clutch at-bat with one out in the top of the seventh for the Doubledays. Coming up with runners on 1st and 3rd and Tremont trailing 6-5, he hit a 2-run double.

"It was a solid team effort," said Deshotels after the game.

Tremont, at 32-31, occupies third place in the Silver AAA.
