Battlekings Roll Over Disaster, 10-3

It was a good time at Constellation Ballpark, where fans came to watch the Port Royal Disaster and Naperville Battlekings get after it.
Naperville center fielder Alex Mable was a significant contributor in his team's 10-3 triumph over the Port Royal Disaster. He went 3 for 5 with 3 singles. He scored 2 runs for Naperville. Naperville reliever Rob Rocha was credited with the win, to go to 1-0. Kevin Samuels took the loss for Port Royal. Kris Ross recorded his 1st save for Naperville.
A defensive lapse proved costly in the contest. In the bottom of the seventh, with the game tied, Naohiro Sakai was at the plate when Naperville scored 1 on an error. The miscue enabled the Battlekings to go in front, 3-2.
"I'm just looking for a good pitch that I can hit well," said Mable. "And not try to do too much."
The win takes Naperville to 9-6.
