López Wins PAA Player of the Week Prize Monday, August 5th, 2030 21-year-old Juan López made a few Lannister United headlines during this past week as the rookie second baseman proved he could compete at the plate with his high-school idols. He captured the attention of fans, journalists and USPL Double A officials last week and today took home Player of the Week honors for his effort. He cracked 7 hits in 8 at-bats to put up a .875 average. López collected no home runs, 1 RBIs and scored 2 runs. For the season, López is hitting at a .341 clip with no home runs, 3 RBIs and has scored 6 runs. He has 15 hits, 5 walks and a .408 on-base percentage. |
